THINKING ABOUT BUYING A HOME IN MILFORD HUNT

We are thrilled that you are considering joining us in our beautiful neighborhood. We hope the information below provides you with some valuable insights.

As you may know, the Lexington Green area is split into three different Homeowners Associations: Milford Hunt, Lexington Green West, and Lexington Green. While many things are similar between the three associations, you may have noticed that the average house and lot sizes are largest in Milford Hunt. As a result, Milford Hunt is the only one of the three that is legally subdivided. What does this mean? To put it simply, Milford Hunt is the only one of the three neighborhoods that is allowed to build individual swimming pools. Yet, you can still benefit from all the amenities of the other neighborhoods as well. Also, Milford Hunt being literally "behind" Lexington Green means that we generally get less traffic. Come and see for yourself!

Chances are, you're also asking yourself about the benefits and downsides of a Homeowners Association when compared to other houses in the region. After all, there is a monthly expense to consider. Well, to put it simply: you get what you pay for! A Homeowners Association helps protect your most valuable investment—your house. It’s no coincidence that Homeowners Associations are the fastest-growing form of housing in the United States today. The Homeowners Association provides shared values for the type of neighborhood you want, and it gives you the ability to enforce certain regulations that you might otherwise miss out on. This is meant to preserve the calm, quiet, and beautiful neighborhood you saw when you visited us. We trust that you're reading this because you appreciated those qualities—and that’s exactly what you might miss out on in a neighborhood without a Homeowners Association.
